    Hi Victoria,..all beautiful scenes,..i like your new gate,..oh does it open inwards or outwards,..either way its going to appear even better when your Bougainvillea completes its training,..ah i discovered just what happened to cause me to reply to the images of the Sierras,..i presumed i had made a Boo Boo which old gardeners tend to do :old:

        Thats great,..it never hit me that it would be sideways,..i was working out which was worst or best,..opening in or opening out,..neither way seemed best,..well done :)

          Following the house and garden walls being painted Pale Yellow last week, T'other Half went out this morning and painted the planter insets in the garden walls Terracotta ... wow, it is an eye opener but will soon fade in the sun as it did before.

            @Victoria ,..i like it,..Terracotta always reminds me of the Med area,..of course its the colour i painted the front of my cottage :)

                @Victoria ,..those Melaleuca dangling branches are very attractive,..reminds me of trees one will see in parts of America with mosses and cotton dangling from branches,..very exotic,..as are the fronds on your Cycad revoluta :)

                    Yes, Philip the Melaleuca reminds me if the Spanish Moss from when I lived in South Carolina. It was lovely, all the old Ante-Bellum homes surrounded by huge trees draped with Moss. Very ethereal.

                              :smile: Cicadas live in the trees so that gives us a spooky background. That leaning tree is the Melaleuca. New growth has come from the base.
