WHAT'S YOUR WEATHER LIKE - 2021

Temperature dropped drastically once the sun went down here, there just doesn't seem to be any warm air around this summer.

 

92f, the air seems to be dripping it is so humid. It is cloudy so it could be a lot worse!

 

That's a blessing, here. Temps not getting above 32C and a lovely NEasterly breeze Coolish nights, too. Apparently, it's all to do with the Gulf stream, or the jet stream...something like that. Next year will (probably) be back to normal....

 

Sorry @pete, I've got it all up here. I'll see if I can send some your way. It's been a lovely summer here and seems to be continuing for the next week and a half.

The sun was late out of bed today, not appearing until early afternoon. After yesterday's high temperature it has dropped quite a bit, being more like the norm for this time of year at 18C/64F (a shade reading).

 

Yes I can see its been warmer than normal up you way Sheal.
Its the positioning of the high pressure systems they are Northern Highs, rather than extensions of the Azores high which is more normal for the summer.
That's how I see it anyway.

We have been the wrong side of the jet stream most of the summer, hate to think what the winter is going to be like.

Only ever use shade readings, a thermometer in the sun does silly things

 

No, the weather's not been good in England this summer. Let's hope you get a dry, sunny winter.

My thermometer readings are usually shade readings which are in most cases a few degrees lower than in the sun. I mentioned the high sun reading yesterday (30C/86F) because we very rarely get that sort of temperature here, especially in late August. The lack of wind and rain has contributed to it also.

It's raining. Windy, gloomy. 15c.

 

Not as warm today and looks like we'll have more cloud , but so far it's seems good outside.

 

A bright start here this morning after yesterday's fluke weather. Currently 18c going to 24c but we always go a bit more.

 

Cloud lighter now and every so often, there's a teeny weeny patch of blue....

The rain was just some heavy drizzle blowing through, it's stopped now but it still looks grim out there.

 

Just sitting out enjoying a cuppa on our east patio, , full sunshine and the thermometer ( in the shade of course ) reads 22C.
