Built a mini greenhouse

I decided to build a mini greenhouse around my tomatoe plants to help them ripen…….took me around an hour.

used some 2x2 and 4mm twin wall polycarb panels

Added more framework for more mini greenhouses and the polycarb just arrived for them too

 

@jowwy , if you haven't already done it, the top edges of those twinwall polycarbonate panels should not be left open. If you get clear tape (1" inch should be wide enough) and run it across the top edges and fold down boths side, dirt, bugs etc., will not fill the channels.

You would not believe just how quickly they can become unsightly if left open!

 

Already had that idea, but im going to build doors now and seal the panels with silicon. My extra strong magnets keep popping off……..

 

As @CanadianLori mentions if you do not use sealing tapes would will soon find those sheets get condensation and algae inside them along with bugs and moss etc.
Ideally use a solid tape on top and a polycarbonate breather tape on the bottom of each panel.

Proper doors built now and sealer tape on order as per recommendations above

 

That's a proper job and so neat, 10 out of 10.

 

8.9 on the Richter scale.

 

My skills are limited, but i got a sharp pencil lol…….
