We have this year, we often do quite well and can be the opposite of the rest of the country .
We catch the continental weather on many occasions which I think we are to some extent now.

The NE wind started back in February and the only time the winds have turned westerly since was in June we then caught loads of rain, off the Atlantic.

I think sometimes my description of the weather can be a bit different to other peoples.;)

14C and overcast. No rain for days, the ground is very dry and I'm having to water everything in pots.

I can't remember when we last had rain of any significance either, I was just saying that our boys came down 7 weeks ago and we had the odd spot then but the last proper rainfall....:noidea:.

Last significant rain here was 13mm on the 9th of August.

I think the drizzle has stopped now.

Cold, damp air but not actually raining and the sun is doing a feeble job of trying to wake up

@shiney Where is that ... deepest, darkest Africa? :hate-shocked:

It is 25c now but with 62% humidity very uncomfortable.

It got up to 36f yesterday and the guessers said with the humidity it would feel like 42f. It did.

Today, it is not supposed to go above 30f. And we had a brutal thunderbanger blow through last night so there's lots of humidity to make it miserable again for working out there.

So, I shall procrastinate on the outdoor jobs and play inside by sewing myself some more clothes instead! ;)
