    No they have plans for us to go up there!! Now that my parents have passed away to be honest I wouldn't mind at all. That is a good few years away as we are still quite fit and able and not yet over the hill!! :biggrin:

          Good morning everyone...that's it now no more bank holidays until Christmas.:sad:

          I hope to be able to get out and continue my border renovations after a bit of housework this morning, thankfully our weather for this week is suddenly looking very promising. Just hope it's not a mistake ...not unheard of !!!

            Now August is all but done I suppose the next big thing is the C word but not before we have weeks of fireworks being let off before and after November 5th.

                Morning Upsydaisy & anyone who is rising :spinning:
                We had a lovely walk in Rivington followed by very late dinner at the garden centre on our way home :yes:, it’s looking a little empty in garden centre as they are starting to move thing around to make room for Xmas trees :rolleyespink:
                Hubby as gone back to work now and I’m not back until next Monday :yes:

                  I hope you are all feeling OK. :blue thumb:

                  Itches are going up and down. Some blisters have burst and others forming blisters (all small) :doh:

                  We've had our cesspool emptied today so the aroma isn't too good. :whistle: Although Sarafi didn't seem to mind. After they took all their pipes away I spent half an hour clearing up with the pressure washer. Not too good for my back but not as bad as I thought it would be.

                  Lots of other things going on.

                        Hmmm, for most of the time, there's only you and Mrs. S there and with the pandemic, not a lot of guests therefore the cesspool contents must have been all yours. After all, everyone knows that us gals only puff pixie dust!

                          They've forgotten to turn on the lights in the sky so I can't see what the weather is like.

                          It's haircut day today and I have a birthday card ready for my hairdresser. It's now 38 years since I trained her. :old: :)

                            Snap @shiney , my hairdresser comes to my house to cut my hair and I trained her 41years ago....she's now one of my best friends!! :biggrin:

                            Another not bad day here ,suppose to be getting a lot warmer next week ..26C maybe on Monday., but I'm quite happy with 20- 21C.

                              Mine prefers working in a salon but is not too happy with being made to go self-employed. All mine were employed on a reasonable basic salary plus good commission (with target bonusses), five weeks paid hols and occasional limo trips to the West End. They also got to do fashion shows and model portfolios. Happy staff and a brilliant atmosphere at work. :blue thumb:

                              They still hold the staff annual party although they all went their own ways when I retired 21 years ago. They held the latest one last month and over twenty of them turned up despite Covid.
