YAWN, YAWN, WAKEY, WAKEY - 2021

Yes same working conditions with us too,apart from the limo trips. Still in contact with everyone now and have meet ups and meals out.

 

Mind you we did get to go up to London too as attending courses was incorporated into their apprenticeships. I can remember being overly optimistic when on a Wella hair colouring course , as it was above what use to be Thames Television Studios...sadly no 'stars' came for a free hair makeover!!
We certainly had some fun nights out though....as we had to stay up in London for a fortnight...but I popped back home for the weekend....couldn't stand the pace!!

Ahhh thanks @shiney , made me recall very happy times indeed!!

 

Thankfully there are enough of us still fairly local to make it a fun get together, but some are in Australia, New Zealand, Spain and America now, but happy to say we're all still in contact with each other.

 

Good morning all…..sounds like Upsydaisy & Shiney had fun jobs, I bet you heard some interesting stories from people too

I’m popping to town today to take some parcels back, then home, re painting the bird house and other ornaments in the garden that look like they need sprucing up. It’s my God daughters first day at Senior school today and her 12th birthday, it’s not long since I was holding her in my hands when she was first born……time goes too fast .

I could also write one on what children have divulged to me over the years during my latter career...some parents would die of embarrassment ...they certainly wouldn't need to visit a hairdresser to make their hair curl that's for sure. Kids speak as they find.....love them!!!

Both my great nephews start school next week......they look too tiny!!!

Good morning everyone, it’s quite grey here at the moment, but it hopefully will change later, I’m doing some tidying up at the back of the garden, there is a bush that is trying to grow through our fence, I did my painting yesterday, I will send you some pictures later. Next Tuesday & Wednesday looks hot Upsydaisy unfortunately I’ll be back at work then but we’ve had dry weather for two weeks so I’m not complaining
