    The dahlia that refused to die , I don't like so don't lift it but it keep surviving the winter . I were certain it was a goner this year .

                1B36420E-5F3C-4FC9-84F8-065736CAF27D.jpeg My favourite deciduous tree( Sorbus Sargentiana) It is not a huge tree but maybe not suitable for small gardens. I am lucky and have the space and planted 3 some years ago. While they look great now with the huge bunches of berries,come the end of the month they will be absolutely stunning turning all shades of scarlet, gold and purple. The great summer we have had should make their display even better than usual. A great tree if you have the space to grow it.

                        Saw this agave on the south coast yesterday, I often walk past it and have never seen it flower before. Must be 15 ft high

                          Although called a Century Plant, they flower about 25 years or so. They can be dangerous when they fall though. At my friends' house last September ...
