We have that, it is amazing but we keep it almost in all shade. Well, I think it is that, actually two, a red one and an orange red one. They don't always name things here. I have never seen the variegated Oleander but am now (trying) to root a red one and two peach ones.

I'm not very good at explaining but on my phone there's 3 long boxes saying, post reply, upload a file and under that is more options. Touch upload a file and I get the list of the pictures that I've taken, touch one and it loads it on here, then I have to choose thumbnail or full image, I choose the full image and that's it. I hope that helps.

That was from a cutting from Mallorca a few years ago, it was variegated and double flowered and as it was hanging over the pavement I couldn't resist taking a couple of cuttings.

My store bought ferns have enjoyed their new digs and I really like the simple addition of busy lizzies. Sort of reminds me of a posie but on a larger scale.

What startled me was that the lizzies grew so well in a shady spot. The impatiens are ones I grew from seed. First time out with trying from seed. The ones in the sunny spots are not too much bigger.

                  That is very effective.

They grow better in the shade here, so do Pelargoniums and Petunias and you do have summers as hot as I do. Also, the Garden Centers keep such under cover here so I follow their lead.

I've always been disappointed with my attempts at growing Petunias Vicky..now I know why.
As we have little shade during the summer months, I think I won't bother with them again now. Admit to defeat!

What about the pot on the patio where you sit? I found the pellet seeds best and flowers lasted longer. These were two years ago. I ordered pellet seeds again but got normal so haven't planted.

Yes that's a good suggestion Vicky, it remains shady until about 3pm during the summer so would miss the ' high heat' of the day......if you can call it that!! :heehee: . I will note it in my gardening diary for next year. :thankyou:x

@Tomhip If I remember correctly there are size limits on photos you can post. 800px X 600px allows me to post mine there is also a file size limit and gigabyte is too big by oodles.
So either reduce file size or post picture elsewhere and then put a link on here.
