Most of the bulbs are in their new homes now apart from the Tulips as it's still a bit too early for them yet. They will get planted around the beginning of Nov to avoid Tulip Fire.:dbgrtmb:

Took lots of Bacopa cuttings yesterday.

Yes still got the tulips to plant in the ground but not yet still got a lot of cosmos to finish first.

Planted up 30 dwarf munstead lavender - around the pond and at the rear of the raised beds that are a little tricky to get to.

Weather permitting will be digging some soil conditioner into 'Alfie's Garden' tomorrow.

Busy doing chores most of the day but did manage to start stacking 100's of pots left in the remains of the greenhouse. Now stacked out of sight behind the shed

Only been collecting seeds. My maroon coloured salvia are being stingy. One seed per flower and so far only 4 mature to get them out of!

Yes they're so easy that way, I don't let the roots get too long and keep them moist for a few days to get them used to the compost. :dbgrtmb:

                      Before the heavens opened:

I managed to cut down and put all my white pelargoniums away in the greenhouse. They have been brilliant this year so they deserve a good rest.
I cut down the cosmos which had been blown over by the blustery wind. What good value annuals they are. Definitely my favourite. The only thing missing is scent.
My hardy geraniums have been given a good haircut. They have been good for ground cover and suppressing the weeds.
I took down my one hanging basket of petunias and replaced it with one planted up with violas.
I welcome the rain because it has been so dry lately.
I have a load of primroses to plant on the bottom bank which is a job for later if we get a respite from the rain. I'll also be dividing up perennials.

Hopefully inbetween the showers I'll get to dig up and pot up some of our Pelargoniums this afternoon after a restful morning sorting out the greenhouse. There were well over 50 at the last count but since then I've propagated loads too.
It will take a couple of sessions I think, hubs has said he will dig them up and load them into the wheelbarrow and bring them round to me at my potting bench . I will then be able to dig up the rest that are in the raised patio borders later.:dbgrtmb:

                        That's the plan!!;)

Planted up some daffodil bulbs into my raised beds, something that lets me know spring is coming……..

Made a start 28 Pelargoniums so far ..and took more cuttings as I tidied them up. I didn't even seek help from Hubs ,so this allowed him to complete the painting .:dbgrtmb: IMG_20211001_170003_hdr.jpg
