YAWN, YAWN, WAKEY, WAKEY - 2021

Good morning everyone, it had started of a tad damp , which was most welcomed, but is now dry and brightening up.
Not sure what I'll get up to today as we had a hectic day yesterday and I'm very achy as we were constantly in and out of the car..and just that simple action alone plays havoc on my leg/hip.
Probably amuse myself shooing out the spiders and clearing up the greenhouse in readiness for insulating for the winter.

Our forecast is supposed to be dire for today but at the moment it looks OK outside with the sun peeping through the trees in the woods opposite.

No doubt that will all change at some point soon. I will attempt to get a few more plants dug up ,trimmed and potted up for Winter before the bad weather hits.

Good morning Upsydaisy, I sent a post yesterday but for some reason it didn’t send , we have 100% rain today and all next week, so can’t do anything in the garden, it’s gone very cold too here. Anyone for a cup of tea or coffee

Well finally we have happy gardens , I could hear the plants singing in the rain yesterday!

Might make a start on lifting the Fuchsias today. I will see how I feel.

Phew!! What an afternoon, evening and night that was. !!
At one point yesterday we were stuck in our car waiting for a break in the torrential rain so that we could make a dash to get to where we were heading, you literally couldn't see through it!!

I think it's safe to say the gardens are all now well and truly watered .

Looks to be a good day today, we're busy this morning but hopefully will get the afternoon to continue lifting the tender plants.

Hi all hope your not all working too hard in them gardens I’ll be getting jealous , we are meant to be having dryer weather at the weekend so looking forward to giving my lawn its last cut and cut my shrubs back. We have one our colleagues off poorly in hospital she’s in a bad way at the moment keeping all our fingers and toes crossed for her stay safe everyone x

Good morning everyone,sorry to hear about your colleague @Flumpy ,wishing her all the best for a speedy recovery.

We had a phone call to say that a few members of hubs family,including his sister, have recently been hospitalised due to contracting Covid. It's still out there and very real, making people very poorly.

Thankfully they are all making a slow but sure recovery now.

Cloudy day today, dry and mild so good for getting out into the garden. Hope to get a few hours out there to continue with the overwintering of the tender Fuchsias.
