I drove straight in and up to the front pump this morning whilst out panic buying potting compost. Yesterday, whilst at a Tesco where several days ago the queues were backing up and blocking the nearby A road, I noticed only 3 cars queuing at each pump.

Plenty of fuel now, but potting compost seems to be running short.

        Some people...

A petrol station in affluent Chelsea in London which doubled the average price for fuel during the height of panic buying sold out this week despite charging £2.68 per litre as shortages continue to affect London and the South East.

Drove past a few service stations today, all seemed to have fuel and there was no queues.

Only mentioned they had brought the army in a couple of days ago and panic appears to be over.

          Mind games.;)

They should have done that 2 weeks ago.

Only one of six petrol stations that I passed this evening have fuel, but even that one didn't have queues to be fair. I think most folk that needed fuel now have it and the weekend will be the indicator really. Shell still the worst by far, there are three fairly close together and only one has been regularly open since this started.

Seems the petrol chaos is OK in the North-West. All stations seem to have petrol although on Saturday there was a £30 limit per fill. Just had a couple of days in south Cumbria, all OK there, the odd pump had a red label on it but no one was queuing. I wonder what the next media inspired panic will be?

Food - they are already trying it with turkeys and pigs. Good old media sticking the boot into the UK at every opportunity. Still, on the bright side when they are doing that it generally stops them from race baiting

They wont get wise to it, the bloke in the street is far too gullible, and they know it.

                    On the local news tonight.
Pig parts illegally dumped by the sides of roads.
Sounds a bit like a disgruntled pig farmer making a protest about Brexit to me.

Pork is far too cheap anyway, and the intensive rearing of pigs certainly needs looking into, most of it seems no better than how they rear battery hens.

Nestle is the latest threat to Christmas apparently! If there's no quality street there'll be riots... Think this is an excuse to not sell at offer prices and forevermore keep costs high

Or have they shrunk in volume, again. Less for more, seems to be the norm nowadays.

A British woman who joined the Islamic State group has said UK politicians should "open your minds" to allowing them to return.

She said they are "out of sight, out of mind" and the UK government must not sweep them "under the carpet".

Nicole - you chose to join the IS - a group that committed genocide and murder around the world - you have shown yourself to be a potential security threat to the UK. Stay where you are with Shamima.
