First of all are flower arrangements (and the makings) Mrs Shiney has made. Everything apart from the white roses are from our garden.

Thank you. She also gives talks on plants and demonstrates flower arranging. Her talks vary greatly and including Edible Plants and Healing Plants. This time of year she makes Autumn wreaths and later she makes Christmas wreaths and they are sold for our charity. Virtually everything in them comes from our garden. As our garden is so full of foliage plants we also provide foliage for local church festivals and a number of local flower arrangers have 'pruning rights'.

The Cotoneaster has been there for over forty years and requires virtually no attention. It is in a 12" wide bed between the driveway and the fence and the other side of the fence is the neighbours' driveway. So it's not pampered in any way.

 

The first two photos are from our Dahlias in pots on the patio. The rest are rather neglected in a bed by our veg plot. They get no attention at all (apart from a 'thank you' as we pass) and there are a few plants that we put there when we were in a hurry about five or six years ago and stuck them in a patch we had taken the weeds from. We intended moving them to a flower bed but have never got around to it.
