Well done Woo. Very impressive. Are you using ski poles? was going to get some but got two orthopedic elbow crutches instead (two in case I want to go hiking (cough, cough).

Good morning @Michael Hewett @Victoria and thank you my friends yes they are walking poles my sons suggested I try them (They are all trekkers and do cross country 5/10 miles every week and wild camping) and they really helped with my balance so I am going to get some but not sure what ones yet.

We need to somehow work something out between us. :heehee:

Stairs are not my thing and we live in a bungalow so I don't even get any practice. :noidea:

Down hill is worse than up hill for, it pounds the knees and back.

I like the sign, "no cycling".

Imagine coming down there on a bike, you wouldn't have many teeth left at the bottom.

@wiseowl that is a tough climb. I find it much easier to either have "regular" stairs or a smooth ramp than those type of treads. Those you've conquered have that, step up, step, step up, step. And it is hard to get a rhythm on what I think of a "shuffle climb".

Good on you! The paved ramp going up to the Grenich Observatory was a bit of fun. The sharp incline slowed me a bit and a bunch of school kids breezed by me. No, I didn't stick my foot out to trip one!

I like the "observation benches" for stopping and appreciating the surroundings nature supplied :heehee:
