            I think they make cement.:roflol:

I watch it and I find the rules confusing.
They are always stopping for fouls, but sometimes its ages after the foul was committed, and trying to work out what the actual foul was is incomprehensible.

I don't enjoy watching, we were forced to play when I was at school whilst all I wanted was to play football. Occasionally we were allowed to play Rugby League which was a bit more fun and free flowing. I'm going back 50 years and the few times I've watched on the box the technicalities have changed dramatically to be almost unwatchable. Although the same can be said with other sports like football where VAR can destroy the entertainment with long stoppages whilst the referees/umpires argue between themselves.

Personally I love the game, played a bit in my younger days, but got into again following my son, played for the school then the county, then youth , he ended up in the Ospreys academy, Dan Biggar ( Wales 10 ) was a team mate, he was doing great until he was stamped on, broke his arm, wrist and bones in the back of his hand. That was it, he tried going back training but any little bang to the hand would swell up until he could clench a fist  after that every year until covid , my boys would buy tickets for themselves and me, for the internationals, don’t think I’ll ever go again now, don’t feel safe since covid , it’s television from now on :)

Hopefully things will return to normal some day. I gave up going to football matches because of the crowd behaviour, even in the family stand the language and chanting is very unpleasant, so it's only the tv for me.

I have never been to watch a Rugby match but friends who do say it is a much friendlier experience.

I always watch the internationals. The last world cup was certainly a roller coaster. When England beat the All blacks so convincingly it was agonising to watch South Africa run all over us..
I've not quite got over it yet

We were told to play rugby Union, any mention of rugby league would incur a punishment! And this was Wigan Grammar School in the sixties :gaah:Nowadays I struggle to follow the rules and tactics of the union game, I do find league more enjoyable to watch, but I could be a tad biased :)

@HarryS i agree that the rules are changing so much, when I played a try was 4 points , league is a much faster flowing game, fancy Wigan being all for union, other way around now, how times change

I will be watching the Internationals, don't watch club level union though, prefer League. We have some good amateur clubs locally, which I go and watch if I have time. Me and my family used to regularly go over to Catterick to stay with friends. We always tried to organise it when the Leeds Rhino's were playing at home on a Friday evening, which me and the lads would shoot down the A1 to watch.
