Managed to get quite a lot of little jobs done that I've been meaning to do for the last couple of weeks. Sowed some Larkspur and some Winter Douce Provence Peas. Got serious with the greenhouse tidying, brushed and cleaned the staging ( one side) and used some polystyrene sheets to line the shelves and placed all of this years cuttings into their final winter home. Continued cleaning and storing, in size order, the pots and water trays , cleaned the trowels, forks, dibbers ,snips and other other greenhouse tools, also made a start on cleaning the used plant labels ready for use next year.....I know this may shock you but I do start of with good intentions and use labels, they just have an annoying habbit of going awol!!!;)

Other half will get done tomorrow.:fingers crossed:

No never had D imperalis flower yet. I have had flower buds; then either the wind blows them off or there's a slight frost.
This year I think I can see the start of a couple of buds.
I believe there are two forms one flowering October - November and one more December. I think it probably needs warmer summers than I get to "ripen the stems".

Sweep up leaves and put in dumpy bag. This year I still have a lot of green leaves on the trees. Then weed, dead head and remove dead half hardy annuals.

Rain dodging today, just finished today's housework tasks and off out to pot up some cuttings that have rooted in water on the kitchen window sill....then I will try not to get distracted any more and knuckle down to finishing the great Greenhouse tidy up as hubs is chomping at the bit to get it's insulation done and dusted......and is threatening to come and help me, his idea of tidying is chucking out ' things that MIGHT come in handy........one day.;):heehee:

After dinner I will attempt to plant up a big pot of Tulips, undercover if need be as I WILL get it done.

I've been doing a bit of planting today in the front garden some plants I commandeered from the back garden selinum Wallichanium - Geranium Orion and a sanguisorba martins mulberry . Did some planting at half time ( football ) and when it finished , dark by 6 pm now and with the clocks going back this weekend I'll get nought done in the evening now . Soil feels quite heavy today more rain due tomorrow .
