Yes get some in @Lem, those Mealy bugs enjoy a nice swig of meths now and then, and we have to keep them happy

          What are Meths?

I've got the hoses drained and stowed. And the water turned off to the outside.
Not a nice job when it is very cold and windy.

And I made the decision to not make a decision about who lives and who dies. :noidea: The few potted plants that are left are all in the greenhouse and the heat will be set one smidge above pilot light only in order to keep things from freezing.

:pcthwack: This emoji reminds me of what I am up to now. Sat here and playing online rather than getting on with things- I deserve a "kick up the behind" type of action to get me going!

Methelated spirits, usually used to clean paint brushes.

Adding a bit more insulation in the greenhouse, bringing a few more plants into the shed, where it’s dry and there’s electric in there so can use fan heater and lights if needed :)

I cut back a big branch on a dodgy pear tree (dodgy because the pears always get bugs in them and they aren't the best anyway) which had strayed over a wall to a neighbour a bit, together with the cobaea scandens which has taken over a little. The cobaea is lovely but having done not a lot last year, is now make a bid for western hemisphere take over. Thankfully, it's not really invasive - just grows well. So I've cut it back in most of the places its growing (about 5) and wait with interest to see what that does to it for next year. I've got a fair few seed pods coming too so hopefully even if it doesn't like the hacking, I can grow more. And I'll carve a set of long handled spoons for the missus for Christmas with the pear branch between work calls...

Got home from work a bit earlier so went up to the greenhouse and moved in a number of the more tender plants still outside in pots; so a couple of Salvia corrugata, Cantua buxifolia, Dahlia dissecta, D excelsa and the potted D imperalis. Checked to see if anything needed any water.

I've been gingerly going about my normal chores this week as I twisted my spine on Monday turning our matteress. Today though I really want to get the last batch of double Tulips potted, I feel a ton better so here goes......:fingers crossed:

Ta @Logan , thankfully I know ( most) of the warning signs now so will pace myself. I'm my own worse enemy as I get impatient seeing chores waiting to be done . Too old to change my ways now!!
