Lol,..her friend is 'Cotton',..named because its stuffed full of cotton balls,..which all of them has to be removed to give 'Cotton' a good wash,..its a big dog and full of cotton :)

That Cottoneaster is a big bush indeed,..its over 17 years old,..that Cotinus was a cutting taken last year,..growing very well,..its easy to like it.

Very true about about realizing how heavy those pots are when its too late :wallbanging:,..i was having a tea break and spotted the two big terracotta pots i had left aside for moving,..big mistake to do that job right after sitting for a spell,..muscles were not flexed,..i figure by tomorrow night i should be out and about,..thanks Michael.

I always think,..it could be worse,..between your walker and elbow canes,..then Jim with his back support and waist support,..i hope you both think likewise,..it does help to fight it all,..my problem is i walk quickly and act quickly in most things i do so with a back that lets me down from time to time its down to my reacting quickly without thinking,..if i have time to think of the chore ahead then i warm up doing something simple and all is fine

Ah yes i agree 15 Euros is a tad high for one hours walking Foxy Molly,..the consolation is i know this woman from seeing her walking other peoples dogs and she comes well recommended,..i have a Woman Solicitor friend who gets her dog walked by this dog walker,..knowing Foxy Molly isn't deprived of her walk and is in good hands is a great comfort,..despite the cost being high.

Hoping you and Jim keep well :imphrt:

Ah thanks folks,..improving each day,..today was the best and almost pain free though i did less moving today to help things along,..the back support always works providing i don't do something silly :),..as for the other support,..mmmmm its a Hernia,..i had one about 10 years ago and it was gone after about a week with the help of a Hernia support,..looks like this one could well fade away,.. with luck and no sneeze or heavy laughter to annoy it :)

I really did take it easy today,..only walked slowly down the main garden path to capture the images below,..that was the only walk i had.

Rose ( Rosa 'Ice Cream' ),..about a dozen buds ready to open,..note the Midge on this bloom.

Thanks folks,..every year i cut back my Delphiniums to the soil,..they will start growing again very fast but never fast enough to bloom before the winter starts,..i have to cut them back twice,..due to our summer being warmer also the autumn i decided to let just one do its thing and not cut it back the second time,..well it grew tall and it has bloomed,..not fully as yet but close.

Still some blooms in November. And how precious is that with Foxy Molly. :doggieshmooze: It looks like Whisper is guarding the empty bowl waiting for a treat to bee put in it. :cat-kittyandsmiley:I like the bowl by the way.

@Victoria ,..ah yes with the warmer times we have there are extended blooms,..i quickly moved that blue glass bowl as Whisper goes into a very deep sleep and snores,..one good turn in her sleep would possibly knock that bowl to the floor,..the bowl was a present from my younger sons Mother in Law who visited me with her husband,..they are Swedish and lovely people,..they purchased the bowl from Steninge Palace,..seen below :)

Steninge Palace, Märsta, Sweden - SpottingHistory.com

I visited Sweden in 2012,..very cold,..the aircraft did manage to take off despite heavy snow,..food there was a dream.

Nice to see your Delphinium flowering so late , and Freckles brightens up the winter. I'll have to get one.

Pets and fireworks don't go together, although my Bella doesn't seem to be bothered by them just like Whisper
(I hate them :heehee: ... but we don't hear many here luckily)

                                I love nice glass/pottery ... but I don't like cold and snow!

I have a Danish Holmegaard collectible Christmas decanter given to me by a Danish friend. Obviously I have a lot of Portuguese pottery and glassware.
