I leave wifi on permanently, I dont turn it off at night.
I think you just do an internet search for the channels you want to add, mine seemed to come with a fair amount of pay for view clutter already set to go, just as soon as I sign up, yeah, like i'm going to do that.

I have a Sony bravia set. You can navigate using the normal guide and select or if you want to use a particular channel 'app' such as iPlayer, then press the Home button and move up, down etc until you find it. You need to register for most apps but you only log in once and then it just works

I did that and I may be doing something wrong, but if I go back to ordinary TV it goes off the Internet and I have to re-enter the password and then re-enter all the stuff for the BBC.

I don't use wifi at home but I leave the router on all the time, otherwise it takes quite a while to reboot.

I turn it off at night and back on in the morning on my way for breakfast. By the time I am ready to look in, it has re-connected.
So far the TV has managed to stay connected so am feeling a bit more pleased with myself at the moment.

Last message. Thank you everyone for your help. We seem to have managed to set it all up properly now. Could not have done it without folk's input.
