Your Day (apart from gardening) - what took place?

@clanless take it as a compliment ,that's what I would do.

Autumn's here so it's Spring cleaning time!! I am gradually working my way round the house. Hubs and I tackled the kitchen cupboards and drawers together, he did the majority of the low cupboards as my back has been complaining this week. It's a lovely feeling when it's done. At this time of year our garden is in shade until lunchtime so it's indoors chores in the morning then garden ones pm.

 

I know how this will go... every day you walk past the house and notice something that looks exactly like the one you have had for years. The neighbours get a cat that is almost identical to yours. The car. The curtains. The doormat. Finally you can't resist and knock on their door.

Slowly, the door opens and...

Stephen King aside, it's definitely a compliment. I think we all do it, something attractive catches our eye and next time we need something similar we more or less subconsciously select something we have seen earlier and liked.

 

We sat out on the lower ding patio for almost three hours in the warm sun plotting and planning a few modifications. The Lime Tree is out now due to thorns ... ops, sorry, that is gardening.

 

Tonight at 7.30pm - booked in for the live broadcast of 'Wuthering Heights' from The Bristol Old Vic.

They are using an app called TicketCo TV - which is available on a number of different platforms - including the Fire TV.

Really excited about this performance - - pot of tea and plate of rich tea on standby .

 

This Friday I'm going to have my cataract done and they say wear something warm because of the air conditioning, but I don't know what. Would it be alright to wear track suit bottoms, a top and jumper? I want to look nice but not if I'm going to be cold.

Wear whatever you're comfortable in , nobody will notice your clothing! Take a cardi to chuck on if you feel that need for extra warmth.
Hope all goes well, it must be the time of year for cataract ops, I know of 4 others who have had theirs done recently.

Thank you @Lem it's just getting there through the traffic and stay there for 3 hours. Hubby has to come back and walk our 2 dogs and then come back to collect me.
These days I don't want to go anywhere even before the pandemic, I'd rather stay at home and do the gardening.

 

I wore my blue jeans, t-shirt and a sweater because yes, it is chilly in there.

Only two more sleeps and you'll be on the road to seeing everything perfectly!

 

Thank you @CanadianLori I've got a nice pair of trousers that I was thinking of wearing but I'm going to wear sweat pants and a long sleeve t- shirt and cardigan.
