            Got nothing in the garden now, all the cosmos has finished. Have to wait for the hellebores. Got the seeds for next year though.

              I cut mine back a few weeks ago and dried them off slightly.
              With a bit of luck they will over winter in the greenhouse and be even better next year.

                    I think to say it's a challenge during it's early growth is not an exaggeration. Once it reaches a certain size it becomes easier and would, I think, do well in your climate.

                      From seed this year, they have grown very fast. I like the look of the flowers but lack of fragrance is disappointing, I will stick them into my cold greenhouse and let nature decide their fate.

                        Sanguinea comes into its own during the winter, I always found it never flowered during the summer.
                        It belongs to the cool weather types group and I think the flowering may be triggered by short days.
