This planet of ours is certainly protesting at the treatment it's getting...it's definitely time for action and no more empty words and promises.
I was horrified by yesterday's news ....we are now fly tipping up in space!! Are we ever going to learn!!

It is a balmy 40f and the guessers have promised dismal cloudiness peeing down copius amounts of rain.

@Sheal it is sad what happened. A lot of the difficulty is because some dams did not hold up. Although getting as much rain in a few days as they would usually receive over a month is a darned good reason for that happening.

Even though we are forecast to have lots of rain, my area has been judicious in having large holding ponds to handle any rising waters. I am going to let the gardens get this thorough soaking before putting lids on the cold frames. Snow will be coming in time for the weekend.

 

Lovely and sunny but breezy. Forecast says we are in for rain Saturday-Monday. Should it arrive it will be appreciated as we have had zero since the storm on 23 September and light showers on 1 November.

 

It has been a nice autumn day with blue sky, a bit cold but I was working in the garden so soon warmed up
