Very quiet here due to the Virus,..though one could count the amount of walkers on one hand even before the Virus :)

Managed to have a walk down river to the point,..not much meadow left to see as the water has got higher and more widespread.

Two weeks ago i was able to walk past that big rock on the left of the images below.

It looks nice and flat where you live @glengarry23, I love seeing photos of that river but I hope the water subsides soon, and that there are no houses at risk of being flooded.
Lovely pic of the bridge all lit up

I hope you can walk easier now ... try to do little bits at a time. I have found moving around slowly and gently helps better than sitting still when you have an injury like that.

@Michael Hewett ,..thanks Michael,..the river is ever changing which is a joy to watch,..alas the water will rise and rise to a level nobody can predict,..Barriers were built all around the town so this year might keep the flooding at bay from entering premises,..touch wood.

Oh i have had three days pain free and no limitations on my movements at all so touch wood it keeps like that,..its very hard to go slow as i am a quick walker,..though i try to slow down,..had my first Anti Covid Injection today,..seeing the Virus is on the move again here,..Bars and Clubs closing at midnight as a result.

@Sheal ,..there is a little story with those Swans,..there was only five in that family,..then there were two youngsters abandoned up until two weeks ago,..they were abandoned only two months ago,..now the family of five have taken them under their wing as the saying goes,..so a big family of seven,..its lovely to see this happen and one does notice the abandoned ones as they tend to remain out of the way of mature males,..in particular if the young are Males.

I understand Swans are very family oriented and it's lovely that this particular family have adopted the other cygnets. :)

I was very pleased to see one of the youngsters joining up with that family as it was remaining in the same small area for some time,..the other was confined on its own in the canal mouth where it joins the river,..when they get to the size they are now they tend to wander away from the parents and when the parents move up to the lake or go down river they suddenly find they missed out on the parents moving.

Lovely Autumnal pictures Philip. Looks like you both enjoyed the stroll. :doggieshmooze: We would have to drive up into the mountains to see leaf drop ... but then it is mostly Eucalyptus and Pine trees.

Glorious leaf colours again this year. :) With the exception of Oak trees here the other trees are already bare.
