Your garden is still very pretty @Upsydaisy

I hope your plants will be all right @CanadianLori, and maybe your Platycodon will tirn up somewhere.

I still can't figure where mine came from in that pot as it was what 13/14 years ago I had them in the rockery. Can seeds lie dormant that long? From seed I imagine they take a few years to become bulbs. Whatever, I am delighted with them in the pot and will split them up from the Platycodon clump that has been in the pot for 15 years. This is definitely a mystery of gardening.

I remember an ecology lecturer telling us that there was some recent rain in parts of the desert in Chile that resulted in some plant seeds sprouting that were likely to have been dormant for over a thousand years waiting for the right conditions to grow so 13/14 years to lie dormant would not be much of a challenge for some plant seeds.

Thank you so much for that Macraignil. It was really a surprise. The funny thing is that a couple of months ago I bought six bulbs ... now I have more ... hurray! I love them.

Yes, I've got several plants still flowering well. Some years it has all ended by now.
What's still doing well for you @Shaunie ?
