    The length of time the flowers last makes them worthwhile, in a cool environment the flowers can last weeks.

            Lovely looking cactus :thumbsup:, I’m awaiting one of mine to flower, the buds are about to burst, and the colour looks red / salmon, can’t wait to see it open :blue thumb:

                              It is very nice but the flower looks more like a Salvia coccinea ... but what do I know! :dunno:

                                I agree, up to a point, but if you google both you will see the difference.
                                The leaves on this are very hairy, a bit like felt to touch, and the flowers are a very long tube.

                                Believe it or not, closer to Gloxinia.
