Jenny we must remember that we're an island nation with a huge population, most of whom are living and working in close proximation.

 

What the government says goes round in circles. They haven't got a clue what's right, what's wrong and how to deal with any of it - whilst dictating to us what we should supposedly be doing. The only thing we can trust is our own common sense to deal with Covid responsibly as individuals.

 

Its surprising how many people want it laid down in stone exactly what they can do and what they cant.
They want to be told how many people they can meet and just seem to think its a numbers game.
Its how people are these days, they seem to have to be led around and dont have a mind of their own and cant make their own decisions.

When I was a kid I made my own amusement I played my own games and just got on with things.
Now days kids have to have organised amusements and have to have adults sorting out how they play and what they do.
No one is brought up to have their own mind these days, they just have to be led around by the nose following the crowd.

Oh, I guess I was that in that I had waist-length hair and mini skirts ... but I didn't hang around in groups and I didn't smoke weed but I was Secretary to a CEO/President at 17 so had to maintain a certain standard.

 

I looked the part but was a good girl and didn't act it!! Went to music festivals...where you didn't need to smoke anything as the air around you was thick with.........
Floppy hats ,beads, bell bottoms or long cheesecloth skirts ,going on protest marches that I didn't really understand and going to Speakers Corner....to listen to things I didn't understand!!...

 

Makes sense as they're the ones having to go out to work / school/ college/ uni and have a far greater urge or need to socialise.
