                            Yeah not far away, the video starts with the snow blower coming through Maidstone station.
                            That Route out towards Ashford and the coast was blocked both rail and roads, and as fast as it was cleared the wind blew the powder snow back and blocked it again.
                            Some of the local villages were getting supplies dropped by helicopter after being cut off for over a week.

                              1987 was the only time the pipes froze in the loft. The ice popped apart a joint so when it thawed we had water running through the ceiling. Lucky we were home so I could turn off the water before any real damage was done.
