Leftover and collapsed towers of gingerbread Hogwarts are now fragrant mood lights.

Tomorrow the tree will be dug out from the garage, de-spiderified and erected on the landing.

 

T'other Half got some new lights for our curly Q tree and patiently wound them yesterday ...

Thank you Michael. Sometimes less is more. Believe it or not, there are 300 lights on that white strand, as there are on the coloured ones overhead!

 

That's lovely Victoria, around here people have a rain dear figures with lights on.

 

I have a reindeer with lights but he is in the loft! I only have this very old photo of him ...

 

That's a shame that he's in the loft but he looks good Victoria.

 

My only Christmas decoration this year because of the mess due to having building work done.

Chilli "Basket of Fire" hopefully dampens down the embarrassment when my niece (6) and her Mum unwrap their arty sushi making kit (not shown) and my dear brother unwraps his cute plastic trainee chopsticks, all pink and white with (unknown outside Japan) cartoon character on top.

I trust my very sensible niece to teach her dad the chopstick art after he graduates from the early learning stage.
