Yes - everything needs masking up or covering with an old sheet. But there's not that much to worry about as everything is white :blue thumb:. Colour comes from pictures etc. All windows are white pvc - so if there is any over spray - you can't see it.

You can adjust the sprayer to wide or narrow dispersal - mainly wide in my case as I want the quick coverage - especially on the walls.

I could never get a clean/straight line when cutting in different coloured walls and ceiling - unless there is coving - most of the rooms here don't have coving.

Sprayer is also good for making light work of sheds etc.

Went for the food shop today. Morrisons have 6 Mr Kiplings mince pies for £0.75 per box. What a bargain :dbgrtmb:.

Didn't go to bed until 2ish, even hubs stayed up which is very unusual.
Still awake by 6 ...hubs got up but I had breakfast in bed and got up afterwards.
Spent the morning taking down and packing away the Christmas Decs. Then had a really good vacuuming and dusting session, they always start to make me feel stifled even though we don't put a lot up. I just don't like a cluttered environment.
I am now happily feeling that I can breathe again and chilling with a nice glass of red wine before going over to see my Aunt and Uncle.

Raining here. Shopping on line for stuff, price checking. Also going through the house for stuff I don't need here, can use there. Not to much Christmas stuff up, so it remains till Jan. 7. Hope I can get a mile walk in today. Then making the traditional New Years Day dinner, roast pork, sauerkraut and mashed potatoes.

Because of the weather being dull and wet, I spent an hour or two online buying some 4” and 8” terracotta pots, also ordered ( some rare and hard to get in U.K.) opuntia cacti plants from Malta also a few different Tephrocactus plants again from Malta

Here are the final results. I would reckon there is about an inch of paint in the bottom of each 750 ml tin of wood primer and satinwood top coat.

I've been told "not to paint all the furniture white" - so this is a far as it goes if I want to stay out of trouble...

ooo... sounds very tempting :) What Maltese shop have you found @Lem please?

I have just discovered most unlikely place to buy terracotta pots at reasonable prices- Waitrose online! Normally I feel an urge to comb my hair before going to their website but in fact they are not too posh after all.

Just finished taking all the Christmas decorations down with a bit of help from hubby, the windows look a bit bare now.

Just come back from two days in Bristol visiting son and daughter in law who gave us our first grandson on Boxing Day. He isn't giving them much peace but our son didn't either when he was born.

Congratulations @strongylodon ! I am picturing you going out to find some wee binoculars in anticipation of teaching the little fellow how to be a birder :)

I have been doing pretty much zip. Spent a lot of time in my machine workroom measuring and visualizing how to rearrange stuff. The best I've accomplished so far is rolling my eyes around because there is so much crammed in there. :rolleyespink:

connected with a facebook group of Airbnb folks who have lots of issues with dog owners, fur everywhere, nails scratching the floors, not picking up the poop, on and on. I am not saying you would do any of that, but could be issues in your search .

Me, today, just continue shopping for the new house.
