Painted pots white. I really like these pots as the material is very thick and sturdy, and the sizes are just what I need. However, their idea of "white" doesn't quite match with mine so a thin coat of paint is needed.

I have 10 of the taller versions (just seen in the back housing a Musa seedling) and I think these squat ones are the perfect shape for indoors herbs.

See what a difference what a lick of paint can do? Unpainted on the left, the fruits of my labour on the right, proudly displaying brilliant white surface :heehee:

I am on ' a 2mile ( minimum) walk a day ' mission....this is my 2nd day .Yesterday I was slightly over the 2mile mark and today was spot on 2.5 miles. I am using this to plan them.
Walking route planner UK - see walk map and elevation profile

I want to do all the normal things that I enjoy ,but sadly of late I've had to scale back on before my app with the Orthopaedic Surgeon in 3weeks time......then I can clearly tell him how my everyday routines and hobbies have been impeded.......that's the plan anyway.:dbgrtmb:

Sorting out firewood before the snow comes. Got that done and went out again to move some branches of a whitebeam that came down recently. Thought I would put some gloves on as it would be manky, found my leather gloves in the woodshed. Got them on and started moving some wood, only do discover that there was a queen wasp in one of the fingers that didn't take nicely to being woken up/ poked and made her feelings known to one of my fingers.

That put a swift end to any thoughts of moving wood. Fingers still sore 9 hours later lol.

Shopping some more, yesterday spent $429.00 on stuff for the new house, and that is just my 3rd trip, several items being shipped to our house. The SUV getting packed to the gills, I really don't want to get a small UHaul trailer. Thank goodness we have outlets near by, lots of sales going on. I also did go for a walk.

I made a start to repairing the cutting deck on the old wheelhorse ride on mower. Its a bit like Tigger's broom. I think there's more new bits and new sections of metal than old now. Would like to get it working again.

Sorry for the late reply @Selleri & @Victoria the shops I used were on Etsy

                      First shop is called RealdecalsStore

                      Second shop is

Here are links to the Etsy shops; I had a quick look and I think I know where my pocket money is going to go- the selections look very interesting, prices are fine and even the Maltese shops offer free UK delivery. :dancy:

Thanks @Logan.....almost 2 years now since it all started, just hoping it doesn't get cancelled or swapped to a phone call app...I will stand my ground this time and refuse such an appointment.

                            Did just over a 2mile hobble today that's almost 10.5 miles since Sunday......so chuffed!!:yahoo:

T'other Half picked up our close friend from our mechanic today (5kms up the road) for them to do an IPO (MoT) then went to Iceland as John wanted tea (some here still prefer English tea and he has been here 25 years!) and T'other Half had a list. :heehee: Then they went to KFC and got a bucket of Tender Sticks (white meat in light batter) for lunch. Jphn spent the afternoon and we watched music videos. Then T'other Half took John back to pick up his car at 5,30pm.
