I buy it in a little jar @CanadianLori, it contains cinnamon coriander nutmeg cloves pimento and ginger. I love nutmeg so I always add more (you can get the spices separately here as well, don't know about Canada ...)
If you like you can add the spices separately and vary the quantities, like I do with nutmeg, instead of using a mix.

Good morning everyone, how are you all doing this morning,?

Another good weather day ahead for us, so I have one load of laundry done and waiting to get hung out, just need the sun to break through fully.

Then we're out for hubs blood tests mid morning.

We'll go out for a walk this afternoon I expect.

I hope you all have a lovely day.

Good morning all. Computer problems again this morning. It kept saying it was Tuesday the 11th and I couldn't log in amywhere. T/other half tweaked the date button and all was okay.

Fingers crossed for the blood tests and have a lovely walk Upsy. xx

                      Aloha everyone,

It's a sunny morning and not as cold as previous days. I've been very busy lately with gardening and organising a lot of things. I'm hoping the temperature outside will rise enough for the hose to work (has been frozen for days) as I need to use the pressure washer to clean the mud off the patio in one area. We've been weeding the beds alongside the patio and the paving has got quite mucky. There's a big bed outside the back door so that is the muckiest and gets trodden across the rest.

Mrs Shiney was also having computer problems as it wouldn't connect to the internet although it's plugged straight into the router. It's not the router at fault because my computer is also plugged into it. The computer was asking for a password but that is not needed when plugged straight in. So I did the standard thing (not hit it with a hammer :nonofinger:) and unplugged everything and then plugged in again. It worked :fingers crossed:

Keep well and have a good day

                      Aloha!

Yes, but someone told me it doesn't work very well with computers. :noidea: That's the trouble with these new fangled things!

                            Good day
I have no idea what it is like outside today as it is still pitch. The guessers are saying we will get a little above freezing today but then plunge back down tonight to -18c.

@shiney I am experiencing the internet connection being arbitrarily dropped and this seems to have been since the last windows updates and also having windows 365. I just restart the computer rather than pulling the plug. Still annoying but easier. :)

We have to disconnect our hoses and turn off the water to our outdoor faucets by about November 1st. Otherwise the piping and faucets would burst with the freezing. I drain my hoses too and hang them in one of the little greenhouses until spring.

I will resume battle with the regional courthouse at 8:30. They have not sent the evite for a zoom conference which is to start at noon. They played this game Jan 4th and the conference got rescheduled to today so instead of letting them play ping pong again, I'm going to hold onto their shirt tails and not let go until the situation is sorted!

Take care and cheers all :coffee:

That didn't work and I tried it five times. :rolleyespink:

The sunshine lasted long enough for me to cut Mrs Shiney's hair in the garden. :blue thumb:

I checked the hose and the temperature had risen sufficiently for me to be able to use it for pressure washing. Before using it I did some shopping for Mrs Shiney and now it's raining

I'll have my lunch (bagels and home made cream cheese) and hope the rain stops. I'm a fair weather gardener. :noidea: Rain doesn't stop Mrs S gardening.

Good morning everyone, hope that you're all well.

A tad late this morning as I had an early appointment and guess what something was obviously up on the motorway as traffic was diverted off it at our junction!!
All the local roads were jammed with rush hour traffic, I even made a point of tuning into our local radio for traffic updates and nothing was mentioned. Thankfully we made it in time.:)

Lovely day out there albeit a tad nippy ( I hate saying this now knowing what poor Lori has to endure.)

Have a great day and remain safe.:spinning:
