Thick cloud and light winds from the west south west temp 2c feels like 2c
Going to be like this until next Tuesday when it's supposed to be very sunny and 8c.

 

The sun has broken through light cloud, that Easterly wind is still with us but milder, no more showers. Showers forecast for tomorrow. It is 9c going to 17c.

 

I think you'll find we hit double figures by the weekend @Logan .Your area should reach 12C on Saturday, according to the BBC.

It is 19f -7c and tonight we are supposed to be going down to 0f -18c. It is sunny for the moment which is a welcome break from snow dropping clouds

 

It's dull and grey today again and there isn't a breeze, but it doesn't feel very cold ... suits me for January

 

I know, I was just trying to lift your spirits as you said that your weather was going to remain as it is today until next Tues, and that is even further away.

@Logan and @Upsydaisy sounds like good times are coming in a week. It could be worse.

I will only get 8 days between now and the end of February which the temperature will creep up to slightly above freezing during the day and then we won't hit double digits until mid April.

The sun is still brilliant today which is a lovely bonus
