WHAT'S YOUR WEATHER LIKE - 2022

I feel for all you people up in the north and in Canada ... hope the weather improves soon for you all .

We've had a pleasant day here, a bit damp this morning but sunny and mild this afternoon.

 

The promised wind gave us a battering here too last night and thought we were going to lose the house roof. Thankfully it's still attached but some tiles have been dislodged. However one of the pine trees at the top of my garden didn't fair so well....





It's been calm with intermittent sunshine and rain showers today. A break from the second bout that will hit us through tomorrow and Monday. The warmer temperatures over the last week or so have dropped, just 5C/41F today.

I was surprised to see it standing this morning too @pete . That is my neighbour's 100+ year old shed. It's on the boundary as many years ago he owned the land that our house is built on.

The wind expected tomorrow night has now been upgraded and may be worse than last night.

 

I bet that's seen a few storms in its lifetime.

 

Yes, I expect it has and it's amazing it's still standing, most of it is rotten.

Sunny with no cloud and light winds from the west south west temp 1c feels like 1c

 

We have had a slight frost, getting up to 9°C later, bright and sunny. Less of a breeze today.
