Good morning everyone, how are you all doing?

Just read that you've had a bad knee Vicky, sorry to hear that, I hope it soon eases up. Did you bang it or take a tumble? Take it easy so as not to jeopardise your daily recovery regime.

I had a relatively good night in the end and we've woken up to a gorgeously sunny morning. After doing my recovery exercises I think a may have a go at attempting some basic crochet......I've kept meaning to learn and as I'm a bit of a captive audience at the moment it seems the perfect time.

@Upsydaisy I'm glad you had an okay night. And @Victoria it is good to hear that you're keeping up (maybe a bit too enthusiastically) with your exercise regime! @Flumpy I got myself confused too and thought Upsy was going today so when I saw her post yesterday it was a moment!

It is a bright day, not sunny but the clouds are thin and the light levels are the "do I or don't I need sunglasses?" . It is 33f 1c , yes above freezing again.

I'm going to get back to that jacket I was working on. I kept changing my mind about construction methods and because it is fully lined, I don't want to have any non ornamental stitching showing in the body. Inside or out. Loads of fun.

I've read the news and now time for a new cuppa.

Good morning!!

The weather can't seem to decide if it wants to be on the cloudy, dreary side or the sunny one...fingers crossed it's the latter.

Knee not too bad but the outer bandage is becoming annoying, I will remove it tomorrow.

Hoping to attend an appointment with hubs this morning, just hope we can find a parking space as his app.is late morning so ample time for app.delays and lack of movement in the car parks.
Our Hospital is set on a steep hill....well steep if you've got a dodgy leg!!! So...

I don't have any structure to my day at all. No appointments and no, "this must be done today" chores. I made sure to do my exercises to avoid getting sore muscles. I had to move something heavy around yesterday and I know it is smart to keep moving.

Thanks Lori ,yes no problem was encountered as we found a parking space right outside the unit so that was good ..but the really brilliant bit was that my hubs is Ok!!

I can't stop as we are having our internet problems looked into and hopefully fixed this morning...

It is cloudy and 26f -3 and we will be hovering around freezing for the rest of the day with possible snow. Tomorrow's high is expected to be 10f -12c. I'd planned to have my shopping finished today anyway so that I'm not one of the oldies taking up space when the 9-5 crowd need to shop at the weekend.

@Upsydaisy I'm glad your day worked out great for both of you!

I've got a lovely bright yellow knit fabric on my worktable right now and I think I know which pattern I will use to make a nice spring (3/4 sleeve) top. Oh, and by the way, I still haven't decided what I want to do with that one fabric ..

The recycle bins are at the kerb and I have little puttering projects to take care of.

All calm and paced.

Good morning all.

I'm trying to post quickly ( so please excuse more mistakes than normal) as we still have major internet probs.
Hope everyone is well, slightly worried that we haven't heard from @moyra for a while now......I hope all is well and that she just feels like a break.

All is good here, I did have another dizzy/ sleepy day yesterday but hopefully today will be a lot better.

We have our eldest with us.... and fussing over us, which is lovely.

It is not very cold out there 30f -1c . The guessers told us to watch out for 0f -17c coming along a little later.

And my usual Saturday morning chores to be done. No deviation because I need some clean undies!

I'll bake a little today and putter. One granddaughter will be coming by this afternoon to help me with a few things and have some pink chocolate ice cream with me.

Good morning everyone ,how are you all?

All is good here, sticking with the exercises , most required 3 sessions per day. How they are expecting this inner dressing to remain on is going to be a miracle!! I have to cling film my knee up for my morning shower but despite this it's still coming away ...I now have a knee covered in surgical tape!

Internet still very bad here but we seen to get short periods every so often where is remains stable for about hour during the day...the evenings are hopeless.

Have a lovely relaxing Sunday, I'm planning another attempt to learn how to crochet, my efforts on Wednesday were absolutely awful....so I will give it another go today.
I'm not one for giving up normally ....but I think defeat has arrived!!!

It wasn’t a very nice day for my neighbor yesterday, to be honest we are all on edge now, our neighbor got burgled 3am Saturday, four men in balaclavas , police think they where looking for her sons car keys as he has a BMW sat on the drive and apparently they tried the other neighbors house but got disturbed, these people need to get a job
