WHAT'S YOUR WEATHER LIKE - 2022

Bright and sunny with a light breeze from the North, 10c going to 20c.

 

Currently 7C and rainy, sick to death of it being wet at this point! Feeling very frustrated because even my amended heavy clay won't be drying out enough to dig for ages. A dry week would probably do it, but there's no indication of one coming anytime soon.

It's been one of the driest January's I can remember around here and the weekend was the first real rain for week's.

Looks like rain is coming again today though ..

I'm in Notts, Pete. No rain for ages here before recently either, but it doesn't take much to soak my heavy clay, I've never known anything like it, it goes from mud when moist to blooming concrete when dry!

Yeah I have a similar problem in some parts of the garden ,it doesn't seem to matter how dry the winter is the ground doesn't start to dry out until March in the earliest.

 

We have an Amber warning for winds tomorrow with Storm Dudley then another named storm on Friday to bring blizzards.

 

@pete Yep, mine's just like that mate, not even starting to dry until late Feb/early March, but with the part being the entire bloody garden!

Well it was supposed to be showers but it's been raining since 6am and very heavy.
Got soaked walking the boys.
A moderate breeze from the west south west temp 9c feels like 6c

It is sunny and 16c but very breezy making it feel very cool. It was very noticeable walking from the sun into the shade. Brrr ...

 

It's stopped raining But I wonder how long for.

 

Still pouring down here, but I did venture out for my daily circuit walks around the garden and to check on the greenhouse and coldframes.

 

Been a wet one all day here in Norfolk, though i believe it has just about stopped.
Just waiting to get these out, however with gale force winds forecast, i might just keep them sheltered close to the house until the storms have passed!

 

Well I don't mind rain ... I don't mind it at all
