I think that Novax Djokovic, says what ever is convenient for the situation. The only person he is concerned with is himself, with little regard for his social responsibility. If he does not want a vaccination that is his choice, but he must accept the exclusions that entails. Hopefully in another 3 months, Covid will have the same status as flu and things will return to near normal.

Well, I cant say I have ever liked the bloke, but I dont think he tried to lie his way into Australia, they have had a pretty draconian approach to covid from day one and in his case they didn't seem to know from one minute to the next whether to let him in or not, one lot said yes and one lot said no, it was quite laughable.

I went into Wilko today and was handed a free bottle of Hand Sanitiser because I was wearing a mask.

He blames his agent for ticking the wrong box on his entry visa :loll:, some people think he is a saint, but really he is just a money grabbing selfish idiot who should be setting an example.

I take it he's not on your Christmas card list then?;)

Agents, huh, who would have em? always doing things wrong.

I suppose in a way he is setting an example, it's more about whether you like the example he is setting or not.

Ok, so I'm going to throw this one up in the air, and see where it lands.

Do you believe all care home staff and NHS workers should have been forced to be jabbed?

I know the government have back peddled on this but only because they suddenly realised that they would be losing too many people.

It is less than that though - most folks have had three in a year, some folks heading for four. How long before they fit a permacath and give you your weekly/nightly top up?

I'd prefer it if they was to put it in the beer, they could call it additive C19.
A bit like all those vitamins they add to our food and force feed us.;)

No one should be forced against their will to have a jab. Whether they keep their jobs is another question.

                    Where are you Whitters?...

There were 13,472 deaths registered in total in the UK during the week - 9% BELOW the five-year average.

A total of 1,390 of these involved Covid - a fall of 155 compared with the previous week.

If a death certificate mentions Covid, it will NOT always be the main cause of death but may be a contributory factor.

Why are we still wearing masks and why do we still have to self isolate - anyone?

Why wouldn't Care & Nursing staff want to keep their residents/patients as safe as possible?

If it's a jab or two each year then what's the problem? it will probably be added to the Flu Vaccine.

Maybe they dont have the flu vaccine? I dont think, or have not heard of that to be compulsory.

They may well have had covid, caught whilst treating patients before vaccines were available therefore they already have natural immunity. Maybe they have seen or known someone who had adverse effects from the vaccine. Maybe they are concerned about long term data on things such as fertility and haven't yet started a family.

I certainly hope they don't add it to the flu vaccine as that would be me completely knackered - I had the flu vaccine in October and was refused the covid one twice earlier in the year. Thankfully, the vaccine technologies are completely different, so that is not currently likely.

It isn't compulsory - even in 2018 all they could do was encourage/advise staff to have it.
