    Good morning Lori :)

I don't have any bandage now as I removed it all last Friday. I just have a lint and surgical tape dressing over it now. I was told this must not be removed whatsoever and if it begins to peel off then I must cover the original dressing with another one....they gave me two additional ones as spare.

I can't work out the cause of the sore , unless it was the dressing that irritated it, this I cut back a bit to see if it made a difference which it definitely did.:dbgrtmb: It was when I cut the dressing back I found the blister. It doesn't hurt so once again I was left wondering if the original dressing had caused some friction. Now the air has been allowed to get to it I'm keeping my eye on it and hoping it will clear up .The blister isn't angry looking and the fluid is clear so that's what is making me think towards friction rather that infection.

    Enjoy your day.

Glad to hear it's mechanical and not bacterial. :)

Thanks, yes I am almost certain it is, won't really now what's lurking ( if anything) under the remaining dressing until they remove it completely. Not sure yet when that will be as I'm still waiting for the appointment.

            Hi @Flumpy

Yes we've had really strong winds for most of the day too currently at about 42mph.......at the best of times we live in a bit of a wind tunnel. We never leave our garden furniture out during winter for that very reason, even in the summer our tables are weighted down and all the chairs put away each evening.

Our winds are set to rage all evening, hopefully a bit quieter tomorrow then on Friday we can expect winds of 75+ mph during the morning!! There will undoubtedly be clear up to do then!!

Yes I'm pretty certain the cause of my sore spot was the dressing too. Thank you, yes all is good with hubs now fortunately.

You take care ..I can hear all the trees outside creaking away, scary!!:yikes:

                  Good day,
It is mild right now but the temperature will be dropping throughout the day and the rain will turn to snow.

I had a hard time trying to sleep last night because the brain wouldn't shut down but it was also good since the brain worked through what needs to be done throughout the next 7 days and even though I am a little tired, I am also energized by how much I want to get done!

I'd best get a move on here. Have a lovely day all. Cheers! :coffee:

Good morning everyone ...and @Flumpy !!:)

Thank you and you keep safe too today,

It's getting scary now ,winds up in the high 70s mph now and set to get a bit higher...moving over to a red warning later this morning.:yikes:

Keep indoors everyone if you possibly can...don't take any chances.

                        God day,
We got a dump of about8 inches of snow and it is now 19f. I forgot to come online earlier this morning as I've been very busy.

I'd been trying to research places to go and things to see within a 100 kilometer radius of me. 9 of my girlfriends are coming around next Thursday and I want to run some ideas by them for the coming year.

                        Take care all :)

Hi all, I’ve had migraine all day due to the work load this week , it’s snowed quite heavy today but rained later, so we now have iced sludge :noidea:.

Hope you are all ok and not too much damage to the gardens, there’s been quite a few big trees come down In our town sadly.
As anyone heard how Moyra is ??

Sorry to hear about your migraine @Flumpy  A few of us have been asking after Moyra and with no news, it is a bit worrying.

I've had a busy day of getting not much accomplished and drinking copious amounts of tea. We got more snow last night and it is snowing again now. The guessers have said that the clouds will move out tonight and tomorrow at least, we will see the sun. :)
