What a dreadful day but surprisingly no wind. Rain, sleet, snow and fog and to finish, a power cut just as it was getting dark. Typical! 3C/37F

It is 50f 10c. The wind is picking up and pushing clouds around but we did get a lot of sun here and there.

I barbecued some hot dogs and hamburgers. No time like a mild time to cook outside :)

Storm Dudley has been a bit of a damp squib here. I think is tracking south of its forecast path. I hope Eunice does likewise on Friday.

Its bloody windy , weren't so bad until dinner time its been blowing a gale ever since can't forget the rain as well. Not really any damage but for the trim on the shed that were coming off anyway and the bins flailing about. I friend of mine had quite a bit of damage to his van a glass table flew into it and put a massive dent in it.

Seems to be pretty wild here at the moment.
Not heard any forecast saying it was going to be this bad tonight.

Pretty intense here too, never heard any wind make so much noise, just from the gap down my bedroom door to the vent opposite it's making a right row, even with all the windows closed! :yikes:

Yes our forecast was completely wrong today as well Pete, the forecast that I posted first thing this morning didn't happen!! We've had gusty winds in the mid to high 40mph range all day long ,now calmer at 44mph......yet we don't have any weather warning in place! ! Other areas that I've check out have current yellow warnings in place yet their wind speeds are only 18mph!! Madness!
The trees are creaking away outside and it feels really scary...god knows what it will be like on Friday morning when the wind speed ramps up even higher along the South Coast !!:yikes:

Survived the first small storm with no visible damages. I fondly remember the last time, when I had to climb a ladder in the middle of a storm to clean the gutter - and nail some aluminium sheathing back in place which had come loose.

Stay safe everyone. Especially in the second wave on Friday.
