Yes they are hardy. I lost mine when I moved here and never got around to replanting it after bringing it with me.

What a couple of days and nights that was. Certainly blew away the Winter cobwebs!!

Good morning everyone ,hope you've all managed to remain safe and dry. Hopefully by the end of today we'll have seen the backend of this band of very gusty winds and calmness will be resumed. :fingers crossed:

Due to the strong possibility of dislodged roofing from Friday we decided not to venture out in this recent lot and will wait until this afternoon when our winds speeds are predicted to normalize. :fingers crossed:

I bet there's a lot of finger crossing going on all over the country today!

        Keep safe out there. :spinning:

            Good morning everyone.

Oh for the sound of...... nothing!!!! Just pure calmness in comparison to the last few days.

Have a lovely day wherever you are. Keep safe.

              Good day
It is calm, 32f 0c and cloudy. Very pleasant compared to cloudy and bone cold.

I've got lots of chores and errands to get done today. This morning will be chores and I will be adorned in a fitting outfit. Old jeans and curlers a la Hilda Ogden. The afternoon will be errands and being in more presentable attire

And so far I've procrastinated from doing all of the above by finishing cutting out a yellow cardigan instead. :rolleyespink:

All righty, off I am to get going. Cheers all :coffee:

                  Good day
It is cloudy and between the breeze and the snow it a snow globe world. 25f -4c

There are no butterflies out there.. but really, I don't expect to see any for at least 3 months. Yes, we have rabbits and anything they might be interested in eating is well covered in snow. I don't know how they forage at this time of year.

Looks like the renovations on the house next door are finally coming to an end. Lucky for me, all of the loud stuff was inside the house and with everyone's windows closed, it wasn't annoying. It will be nice having a new neighbour.

Have a good day all and cheers :coffee:

I've done that in the past too but soon learnt not to bring them into the house as they can go into shock over temperature differences. Now I either weight plant pots down or move them into the garage until the worse has past over and get them back out as soon as poss.

Our nice sunny start didn't last long it has been on the nippy side today and we are supposedly in for heavy snow tomorrow.

I went for my first ( short) walk up to the neighbours farm and back.....so happy!:hapydancsmil:

@pete I wish the hillbillies would win some money and move away! This was where a very old fellow lived and on the opposite side.

The stupid contractors seem to enjoy working in the semi dark as they don't turn the lights on until just before they leave. Probably to quick scan for tools they don't want to miss packing up. Really hard to see what changes they are making! Nosy Lori...
