I have a couple of pairs of Siskins here at the moment Strongy. They're tough birds and don't mind fighting off the finches which are bigger, to get to the feeders.

The Red Breasted Merganser is still on Poole Park lake and due to the lower water level a few Godwits were feeding on the mud.

After a couple of months in hiding somewhere in Dorset, these three Tundra Bean Geese reappeared here yesterday. In the next week or so they will probably head off home to Siberia.
Not particularly colourful birds but nice to see such rare visitors.
Unlike me they seemed oblivious to the rain.

He's fluffed his feathers up to hold body heat in. They also do that when they are showing off to a potential mate. :)
