Good morning everyone, we have woken to blue skies and full on sunshine again this morning, although our forecasters think we have a grey rainy day!:dunno:

It's a' go with the flow ' kind of day for us today...so much I'm itching to do out in the garden, but I will pace myself. :dbgrtmb:

    Have yourselves a brilliant day.

        Morning Michael, how are you.

I'm loving the pics you post, you've got gorgeous pots all out in bloom.

Yes thanks I've just this moment discovered this as I ran the animated weather sequence through for the day. I think it's due here about 5 ish.

You enjoy your dry spells too.:) xx

Thank You @Upsydaisy xx and I'm not too bad today, I'm having a walk-in bath installed. Couldn't use the shower any more, I found it difficult turning around in it, although it was rather a big cubicle, and I had difficulty cleaning it, it became quite grimy :frown: .... and also after a shower these days I shiver for hours even in the summer.
I think the bath will be much better, it has a seat inside it too.

The sun has disappeared now and there are spots of rain which I wouldn't mind but it is also cold. The spring bulbs cheer me up :spinning:

            Good day
It is sunny right now and I have to be on the road a good part of the day so the cold won't bother me at all as the heater will be set to inferno.

And after today, I have 4 days of not having to meet anyone or have visitors here. I have had visitors for the last 10 days and it was starting to tire me. I guess covid had put me in hibernation and now I need to get the lead out!

This morning I am meeting a friend whose breast cancer decided to return and we are going to talk about how I will be helping her as she has no one else to give her a hand. And sadly, yesterday, another friend told me her breast cancer had come back too. She'd already had one procedure (without telling me) and just needs moral support but it is still upsetting to me.

Well, on with my day and Cheers all :coffee:

                    Good day
It is 29f -2c and a few clouds are lousing up the possibility of a sunny day. The guessers are telling us that by Friday, we'll be getting another dump of snow. All this precipitation would be wonderful if only the ground wasn't frozen rock solid several inches down. When it melts, it just runs off and leaves the grass vulnerable to "slippage" and it is hard to do anything out there without damaging the sod.

@Upsydaisy I will take care of myself. I do have a track record of weathering being a care giver. I just hope it doesn't turn out to be my "career" for the rest of my life. I'm hoping that this summer will find all of my friends and family in great health. For them and for me  Thank you for your kind wishes.

Have a wonderful day all. Cheers :coffee:

I know exactly what you mean, I sometimes think that I have 'carer available ' written across my forehead!
There is not one single family member( Parents, both sisters and brother) that I haven't provided care and support for but their absence has been duly noted when I could 've done with some. Likewise sadly a very dear friend of over 40 yrs too.

Obviously I didn't offer my help expecting any in return , but there have been times when the odd phone call from one or the other of them would've been greatly appreciated.

Good morning everyone, how are you all?

Another lovely ( so far) looking day has dawned down here.....hoping it remains that way :fingers crossed:.

Not sure how our day will pan out as our eldest arrived last night on a surprise overnight visit, he has to be back in London by 4pm as he has a meeting to attend.
                        It's lovely seeing him .:hapydancsmil:

May get time to finish tidying up the border that I am revamping....or perhaps I should say...attempting to!!

                        Enjoy your day too.

                          Good day
It is 26f -3c and just a few streaks of cloud in the sky. Looks like it's going to be the last nice day until this time next week. Snow is forecast and plunging temperatures are to accompany the white stuff.

I will be doing some errands today and have a fairly easy to-do list to take care of.

It's always nice to see your kids isn't it @Upsydaisy ! I will be seeing two of my granddaughters this weekend and it will be the first time in two years. I guess the mother knew she'd better obey the 2 year old court order providing my son visitation as the case goes back before the judge again in couple of weeks. It will be fun having them here :)

Have a lovely day all. Cheers :coffee:

                            Good morning everyone! :)

Our weather isn't suppose to be too good today, although at the moment it's OK. I will probably settle myself down in the greenhouse and sow some more seeds......if I can find a space that is !!

We have sunshine at the moment, not sure how long for..:fingers crossed:

Hope you all have a good day.

                              Good day
Here it is Friday and the recycle is at the kerb and I am sat with a cuppa. @Nikolaos the good news is that it is cloudy, cold 26f -3c and still snowing. I checked the ground and you couldn't stick a pin in it as it so frozen so very hard. Yes, doesn't that make you feel good? :heehee:

I've got lots to get done today and tomorrow morning as granddaughters are coming for a sleepover tomorrow night and then on Monday night I will be staying at a friend's to watch over her after her operation. I will, of course, be spending the day at the hospital with her before going to her place. I probably won't be of too much help but at least I can be vigilant. I am taking my own bedding to put on top of hers in her guest room so that I don't create any extra work for her after I leave.

                              Cheers all :coffee:

@CanadianLori Thanks Lori, it's a bit rotten and cloudy today here in the Midlands so hearing that has brightened up my day! :heehee:;)

Warm at 12C, finally a decent rise in temperatures, hope it stays that way. Bit of drizzle around ensuring that we Brits still have something to have a decent moan about.
