We have had online deliveries from Morrisons for two years now, charged for bags at first, when told we didn't want any bags, they stopped. It all comes loose in the delivery crates.

Mine was in bags in delivery crates.
They put smaller items in bags to keep them together, but why a box of 12 beer bottles needs to be put in a bag is beyond me, the bag wasn't even strong enough to lift it by.

        Garden centres.
Saw these Agaves for sale last year, they wanted £169 each.

Obviously didn't sell, but why not just move them under cover for the winter or just sell them cheaper at the end of the summer.

Checked the refund from Tesco, they refunded the price of the goods but stuck to the £3 delivery charge.
An official complaint has been lodged and I'm awaiting their call.

Just found out my energy rates from April. My supplier knows that people will clamp down on energy usage - so they have doubled the daily standing charge to keep their income up. Very clever.

I wonder if they are increasing the standing charge because the price cap means they are currently losing money. It's costing the energy companies more to buy than what they are allowed to sell it for.

I heard an explanation of the reason for the price hike regarding standing charge from Martin Lewis the other night on TV.
Cant remember much of it but one big reason was having to take on all the customers who were with the companies that went broke.

DWP! :wallbanging: Department for Work and Pensions.

I think most of us know how difficult it is to get through to this government department on the phone. Having pressed this button, pressed that button and started the long waiting game for an answer, a voice eventually answered. "Sorry, you're through to the wrong department". :gaah:
Given another number the whole process was started again. The voice this time had an accent I had difficulty understanding, with a loud voice in the background on another call that was helping to blot out what was being said. My request was simple and dealt with but I was asked to answer some questions to complete the request. "Sorry madam, you've failed the security questions, you will have to call again". I wasn't told they were security questions but then asked which questions I'd failed. The voice came back "sorry you've failed the security questions, you will have to call again". End of conversation. I was fuming and that's putting it politely. :mute:

Being late in the working day, I'll phone again tomorrow and hope 'the voice' is one I can understand and my phone is still in one piece at the end of the call.

Sheal"IF" you fail the security questions, the Advisor is supposed to set you up with new questions and your answers, If they do not they are saving themselves time as they are judged on how many calls they take Not on the quality or satisfaction
If they do not offer you a reset then ask for their supervisor
How then do they set you up with further security questions if you failed security
They ask questions ONLY YOU would know thus avoiding any fraud of your account

Thanks for the information @Jack McHammocklashing. It may be the lady didn't want to get further involved as it was at the end of the working day, which in my opinion is not on.

I'll try again tomorrow with your advice at hand.

Everything is just stupid these days, Churchill insurance sent me an e mail saying would I like a quote for my car insurance, click this link.

OK, clicked link, first question, what is your e mail adress.
Filled in all the info they wanted which included name adress and all that stuff.

Got the quote which it said will be sent to my e mail.

I then get the e mail with a link to verify my account, click link.

First question, what is your e mail adress:wallbanging:
Then adress, then make up some stupid password.

What is wrong with these people, the system is rubbish, I just shut them down and let the quote go, sod it.
