Prunus incisa 'Kojo-no-mai' There are many translations of that in the garden centres but a Japanese friend of ours says that the literal translation is 'dancing princess' but can sometimes be interpreted, wrongly, as 'dancing lady'

I did it from seed the year before last. I got five seed and all five germinated but I only have the one now. It bloomed last year.

I bought my BoP as a flowering plant in 2007 and kept it in a pot for years. Yours loks great.

Our flowering plum (Prunus x blireana) is coming into bloom. This is the first we have seen of it, only planting it in early autumn.

I have no problems with them. Anyway I deadhead them as much as possible & I even collected some seeds last year but don't know what I've done with them!
