FLC, brilliant band with a great debut album, as a fan of pretty much every genre they dipped into, it was interesting to see how many fans of music other than rock enjoyed them, a really interesting "crossover" group! :blue thumb:

The Roots, one of the few Hip-hop groups that are also accomplished musicians!

and the scratch master Terminator X, showing how the turntables can be another instrument with the great Public Enemy.

Haven't listened to this in years, great little mellow pop song IMO. :)

This is one of my ultimate musical 'what the hell' moments - Sandie Shaw does The Smiths!

@Freddy - I'm in the Beathles were overated camp (along with the Stones). Give me The Who any day of the week. But I'm a huge lover of ELP, unfashionable as it may be.

The Who are one of my all time favourite bands. Indeed, they were the first band I saw live ( I was 14 at the time, so made quite an impression :)). The Beatles will always divide opinion, but for me, on reflection, they were hugely influential.
Keith Emerson was a genius, a truly outstanding keyboard player...

Yes, I’ve seen a few of their live performances via YouTube. I get the impression that it was all a bit...disjointed, playing at breakneck speed, and losing the plot. The albums though are rather special, I think.

Anyway, currently listening to something of an unheralded classic, imo...
