Yes it was one of the pips she sent me a few years ago now, it was almost covered by other trees until a couple of years ago when I found it again, last year we had a dry spring and peach leaf curl was almost non existant.

The Salvia is a deep blue and almost like velvet.

I can/t remember if you got peaches. My Cousin (in Bedfordshire) had some seeds and grew two trees and got lots of fruit quite quickly. I never had any luck germinating the stones.

I just remembered I have Salvia hispanica (Chia) seeds. I believe it has blue flowers.

Yes I have had fruit but not recently, I must admit I gave up on it when it defoliated every year due to leaf curl.

Seeing these makes me so happy ....... Especially as only one of my snowdrops decided to make an appearance this year! They're in a metal trough type container and usually provide a great little show, along with mini daffs that failed to appear too. I'm thinking that maybe a fuchsia that is in the container and the bacopa I had in there last summer have taken all the nutrients out perhaps? .... I'm moving the fuchsia elsewhere I've decided. I grew Chia with some seeds stolen from The Teenager's teenagery food stash, they never flowered up here but made handsome, 6 feet tall plants. :)

I've got a few wall flowers in the front garden this year, but yours are flowering much earlier than mine @Upsydaisy .

I think most of the ones in bloom are from last year, some of this years are not too far behind though.

It was mild down here very little frost. Snowdrops flowered nicely.
@Alisa may be your clumps need splitting up, they can get crowded and then fail to flower well.
Best time to do this is the summer after the leaves have died down, don't leave it too late as the bulbs start into growth earlier than many expect; roots start to form during August.

@Nigel thanks for that info...oops I've always been told to split while 'in the green ' so that's what I been doing this year. Is that now thought of as wrong? Really hope they'll be OK as it's the first time I've done it.:fingers crossed:

They should be fine, many snowdrops are sold in the green at this time of year.
