          I was listening, on the radio, to a programme about The Beatles and they played this song by Helen Shapiro. In 1963 they were only one of the supporting acts on Helen's tour but quickly moved up from the bottom of the bill to be her main supporting act.

          This clip from TV's 'Ready Steady Go' shows John, Ringo and George appearing in a joking cameo but there wasn't time in the performance for Paul to appear. You can see the back of him in the audience at the start of the video.
