Thanks folks,..delighted to see you are all there and well,..you know the old saying,..you can not teach an old dog new tricks,..well i had noticed when my hernia was really bad,..bit by bit i took note of the movements that created pain,..so its no more of the following until it heals itself or another hospital visit,..no stooping to the right,..no stretching to the right,..no reaching up towards the right,..no turning my torso to the right,..it takes a long spell to get into this,..however when i abide by this then its a pain free day :yahoo:

Heavy winds and frost last night so less blooms left intact.

The wind was so strong it knocked my Saxifraga hypnoides densa off its large log,..thankfully not much damage.

How wonderful that you don't go back for the preview until May 20th as it suggests that there is no great urgency :)

@Upsydaisy ,..thank you,..i am trying to take it easy but forget myself,..i tend to dart about until i get hit with a dart of pain,..then its 15 mins on the couch until i recover,..at least now i can control the situation by easing the hernia back inside,..i only found about this in early March from one of the surgeons,..its a painful chore but worth the pain as when its back inside i have hardly any pain until the next time.

Very nice to find a young double,..cherish it as it will multiply.

@CanadianLori ,..i am very happy to know there is no urgency,..i was told once i can ease the hernia back inside all is well but to watch out in case there is a twisted gut,..they dont want to operate once i can ease it back,..only if it remains outside,..i can cope well enough now providing i dont over do things :)

Can't you wear a hernia support belt ? I've been wearing one for several years. The hernia gives me no trouble at all.

Ah yes I remember this ... glad it's doing well for you

Hi Michael,..yes i wear one but it doesn't quite cover the area where the hernia comes out,..its a groin hernia,..the belt tends to move as a result,..even if i make it tight or loose makes no change,..it popped out today as i was pruning,..so lay on the sofa made adjustments and waited 20 mins for the pain to stop,..then all was well again

                              Can we swap hernias :gaah:
