My hernia was giving just mild pain today,..until Foxy Molly wandered outside today and was lost for an hour,..i walked briskly around the area but no sign,..luckily i told the lady next door to keep a look out in case she returned,..while i went searching by car,..i had given up and was driving home when i got the call saying Foxy Molly had turned up outside her cottage and she took her in,..boy was i glad to see her,..she managed to get out as workmen were clearing the cottage contents out of the cottage next door and left the side gate open,..that cottage is empty since last October.

Looking guilty,..just taking plants out of the greenhouse today.

Oh Foxy Molly you caused a lot of worry but I'm glad you returned home safely :doggieshmooze:

The fish are pretty, I think they are very relaxing to watch.

Nice wallflowers, do they have a sweet scent ?

Naughty girl Foxy Mollly to worry your Poppy like that!!! :nonofinger: Pleased she is safe however. On the rare occasion when one of ours goes missing, much fretting goes on (mainly by me) until they return. Sadly one Calvos never returned and there is many a day I think of him and wonder. It is difficult not to think of him as his name is part of our address. :cry3:

Hi Michael,..worry indeed,..i was in a sweat as i was thinking i wouldn't see her anymore,..plus several dogs have being stolen in the area of late.

The fish are growing fast and starting to show colours,..these are coldwater fish and need less attention as my tropical fish wich is a bonus.

Those wallflowers give off a strong sweet scent,..i have several others just coming along but slower as they were outside since last summer.

Naughty is right Victoria,..and never batted an eye when i called to collect her from next door,..she just greeted me as if she only came from one room in the house to another,..fretting was mixed with panic,..i just wagged my finger at her and her ears dropped,..she got the message,..i think ,..they are just like children.

I can understand how you still feel about one of yours who never returned,..you always think of them and you wonder,..it never leaves your mind,..i have a few who never returned,..its sad.

The other cottage next to mine used to have a nice garden,..the owner died and the next owner had no interest in gardening,..the garden became overgrown with huge weeds and briars so i always had a battle keeping the weeds and briars at bay,..all was not lost as there was still a nice Clematis appearing through to my garden,..almost begging to be rescued,..however the briars were preventing me from doing so,..two weeks ago that garden was cleared of briars and i was able to rescue this Clematis,..i was sure of the spot it was rooted in,..soon i will know if i was mistaken as i dug it up and planted it in my garden,..there is a shoot appearing above the soil just now,..fingers crossed i was right,..that Clematis shown below in 2020 as it spread into my garden,..between the wall and my screen.

In 2020,.. i cut my Delphiniums back to the soil after they had finished flowering,..i then took some cuttings from the new shoots that appeared,..sowed them in large pots and they remained outside during Autumn and Winter.

In 2021 those cuttings grew as tall as the well established bloomed in the garden.

Now in 2022 the cuttings in the pots have grown twice as tall as the well established ones as can be seen below.
