Snowing and 6c, Blowing a hoolley.

 

Snow & sleet showers this morning here. Quite a brisk North/North-east wind making it feel even colder! We only have 6/7C max today. The sun has been playing hide & seek most of the morning but we are forecast a few more hours of sunshine this afternoon, but it won't serve to increase the temps or reduce the wind either.

 

Just had a 10 min snow shower....passed now and back to blue skies.

 

You wouldn't believe we've just had snow!! Not a cloud in the sky now. We were out for a walk and it was falling heavily and so very cold. We could hardly see in front of us!!! Now it's lovely and not a snow flake in sight!! The wind was so cold that it gave me earache.

 

This is about the time of year, Upsy, that there’s usually a divergence from the temps and conditions up here, compared to you guys down south. Sadly, you seem to be getting more of us courtesy of the northerly airstream. I’ll easy have some of your 30 degrees later on in exchange for the shared conditions just now.

 

I think they say the chances of getting a white Easter are always more likely than a white Christmas.

 

It's like soft hail here now, but has been sunny most of the afternoon

Was out earlier wrapping the grapevines with lots of fleece and it's going to stay on them until things change.

 

Brilliant sunshine and a bitter wind from the NW at 38 km/h gusting to 68 km/h so our 18c does not feel like that at all!

 

If I hear Shakin’ Stevens in the supermarket..

We've had snow showers and then sunny intervals and a moderate breeze from the north temp 5c feels like 1c

 

Snowing again, 3rd lot today.
