We are hopefully going to have a very bright and sunny day albeit it followed by a nippy night. I can cope with that as long as my seedlings can enjoy some sunlight through the windows. If they're happy then I'm happy too.

It is 32f 0c and snowing again. I was so grateful for the break in the cold that we had yesterday however having spent the entire sunny afternoon inside, I mostly missed it. I did have a good time with my friends which certainly more than made up for missing out and I know that other warm days will be coming.

I had to giggle at a silly thought I had while reading your post @Flumpy . Negative/Positive tests - yes we know it's covid but someone years from now might think it was another type of test.. rabbit...

Today is going to be a Hilda Ogden day. I've hauled the rubbish and recycle to the kerb and am about to jump in the shower and don my rollers. Then I will be watching Doc Martin

The weekend has arrived!!

Hubs is out and about doing things this morning, one being having his 4th Covid jab, so I will find things to keep me out of mischief here.

Normally I'd be racing to get outside but since moving at a snail's pace I definitely feel the cold more.

I need to give myself a good talking to and wear an extra layer!!

Good morning Upsydaisy I’ll have a tea no sugar please , my hubby as gone to work until 12 today, he didn’t sleep well through coughing . I’ve got all the bedding washed and disinfected all surfaces, not that anyone wants to come round !
Think I’ll have a stroll around the garden today (first time out).

Good day
I treat myself to a pot of PG tips every afternoon as my special treat. In the morning I settle for Tetley. I drink my tea black, no sugar. I really can't stand milk in anything other than something really sweet like ice cream Oh, that reminds me that I have some fudge to make today.

It is brilliantly sunny but unfortunately quite cold. It hasn't gotten up to freezing as yet. But the good news is that there will only be a few days left, dotted here and there over the next 10 days, which will be below freezing. Snow is forecast for tomorrow but I don't below this one will last.

I hope everyone is having a great start to the weekend.

Hi Lori, snap I don't take milk or sugar in tea/ coffee either. I can't even look at milk without feeling ...Yuk!
I have a tiny bit on my breakfast cereal but it must all soak up into my Wheatabix so that I can't see it. I also hate the sight of Mayonnaise and white sauces....if I add Turmeric to disguise the colour I can just about cope. One of the kiddies that I use to Nannie for was very similar and his Mum devised 'pink sauce'... mayonnaise with tomato ketchup!!


I like ice cream but not when it starts to melt....unfortunately I have to quickly gobble it up

I thought it might be fun if we did our daily exercises together this morning.

Fingers crossed our night temps are on the rise a bit as a few things are struggling including my Dad's Lemon Tree , I gave it an extra layer of fleece yesterday.
