Am currently considering a small stream going into my new wildlife pond (2m x 1.2m x 0.6m). I do not intend to keep fish, but will be using various Oxygenators and Marginal plants. I have considered using a wildlife friendly dye to keep free of blanket weed Etc.
The stream would be approximately 40cm at highest point, approx 20-30cm wide and run for about 75cm (hoping those figures stack up).
Have looked at a Pondkraft Eco Filter Pump and an Oase Pontec PondoFall, but not sure if some additional filtration unit would be needed?

If its in full sun try to shade it for part of the day. Blanket weed loves warm sunny water. Try a small water lily to shade about a third of the surface.
If no fish then no need to add a filter imho. The waterfall entering the pond will providev enough O2. More splash the better.
Youll already know this but make sure you only use aquatic compost for your pond plants or else its greenwater time.
